ADVERSE WEATHER ARRANGEMENTS


Typhoon or Rainstorm signal issued before classes or examinations:

1) When Typhoon Signal No. 1 / No. 3 OR Amber / Red Rainstorm warning signal is issued:

Students are expected to attend classes or examinations when above signals are hoisted.

2) When Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 / No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm warning signal is issued BEFORE classes or examinations:

All scheduled classes and examinations will be suspended and academies will be closed.

All classes or examinations shall resume under below conditions:

a) When the Typhoon Signal returns to No. 3 / lower OR Rainstorm Signal returns to Red / lower before 7:00 a.m., classes or examinations that start on or before 2:00 p.m. will be resumed.

b) When the Typhoon Signal returns to No. 3 / lower OR Rainstorm Signal returns to Red / lower before 11:00 a.m., classes or examinations that start between 2:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. will be resumed.

c) When the Typhoon Signal returns to No. 3 / lower OR Rainstorm Signal returns to Red / lower before 4:00 p.m., classes or examinations that start on or before 7:00 p.m. will be resumed.

When Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 / No. 8 or above / Black Rainstorm warning signal is issued DURING classes or examinations:


Once a class or examination has started, it will continue for the full time allotted unless physical conditions in the Centre are considered to be dangerous. Students can decide to leave immediately as well.
